1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
Personal information you disclose to us
In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, make a purchase, participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise contact us. The personal information we collect may include:
- Names
- Email addresses
- Phone numbers
- Usernames
- Passwords (used to authenticate your account; account passwords are managed by Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication and are not stored by us)
- Contact or authentication data
- Bank transfer receipt images
- Payment transaction identifiers
- Course enrollment records
- Wallet balance and transaction history
Sensitive Information. When necessary, with your consent or as otherwise permitted by applicable law, we process bank account receipt details that you upload for the purpose of verifying payments.
Payment Data. Rubik supports two payment methods for wallet top-ups, both available only on our website: (1) ZainCash, a licensed Iraqi mobile money provider, via their SDK integration; and (2) manual bank transfer with receipt upload. For ZainCash transactions, payment details (such as phone number, transaction amount, and transaction ID) are processed by ZainCash under their own privacy policy, available at https://zaincash.iq/privacy-policy; Rubik receives only a transaction confirmation and amount, not ZainCash credentials or full account details. For bank transfers, users send funds to a designated Rubik account through their own banking application and upload a receipt screenshot; receipts are reviewed manually by Rubik administrators and stored securely. In both cases, the resulting wallet balance is used to purchase course enrollments. Rubik does not collect, store, or process credit card numbers, CVV codes, or banking credentials. Manual bank transfers are made through the user's own bank, which operates under its own privacy policy independent of Rubik.
Social Media Login Data. We provide you with the option to register and log in using your Google account. If you choose to register in this way, we will collect certain profile information about you from Google, as described in the section "HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR SOCIAL LOGINS?" below.
Application Data. If you use our mobile application, we may collect the following information:
- Mobile Device Access. The application may use device features that prevent screen recording and screen capture of course content as a content-protection measure.
- Mobile Device Data. We automatically collect device information such as your device model and manufacturer, operating system and version, device and application identification numbers, mobile carrier, and Internet Protocol (IP) address. We may also collect information about the features of the application you access.
This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our application, for troubleshooting, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.
All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.
